Die Grenze zur Schweiz ist knappe 15km entfernt, die deutsch-französische Grenze verläuft in ca. 3km durch den Altrhein. Basel, Mulhouse und Freiburg sind in weniger als einer halben Stunde Autofahrt erreichbar.
Bad Bellingen ist ein kleines Städtchen im Markgräflerland, eingerahmt von Altrhein, Feldern und Weinbergen am Fuße der letzten Schwarzwaldhöhe, dem Hochblauen (1165m). Es ist eine der sonnigsten und wärmsten Gegenden Deutschlands und klassisches Weinbaugebiet und bekannt für gute Küche. Der für diese Region typische Wein ist der Gutedel, der aus einer der ältesten bekannten Rebsorten, der Gutedeltraube gekeltert wird.
Heiße Quellen nutzen schon die Römer im nahen Badenweiler. Bad Bellingen verfügt über ein modernes Thermal- und Freizeitbad, zahlreiche Kurkliniken, Hotels und Restaurants.
Eine Gegend, die einerseits klein und bäuerlich, andererseits aber auch international offen ist und wo es einfach schön ist.

Bad Bellingen is located in the area of Lörrach town, in the most southwestern tip of Germany.
The swiss border is just 9miles away, to France its just 2miles. It takes less than half an hour by car to Basel, Mulhouse and Freiburg.
Bad Bellingen is a small village in the so called "Markgraeflerland", framed by the river Rhein, acres and wineyards and located at the foot of the last Black-Forest mountain high, the "Hochblauen" (short the "high Blue", 3.800ft). It is the sunniest and warmest area of Germany, a traditional wine area and famous for its good cuisine. The typical wine of this region is called the "Gutedel" (a mix of ´good´ and ´noble´ ) which is pressed from one of the oldest known grapes.
The ancient Romans already enjoyed the hot thermal springs in the nearby town of Badenweiler.
Bad Bellingen has a modern thermal- and wellness bath, many health clinics, hotels and restaurants. It is a region, which is small and rural on one side and internationally orientated and open on the other side. Its a place to be happy.
