Probemaster test leads: 8043 - Master Test Set and 8152 - spring-loaded micro tip test leads

Test leads are a ineviteable accessory to every multimeter, partly they even come as fixed leads.

While it may not appear so clear at first sight the quality of the test leads and their tips plays an important role. The leads should of course be safe, wishingly well above the specification limits. Soft leads are much more comfortable to work with than stiff ones. The tips should be sharp, as smooth as possible and most conductive so that signals can be captured fast and correct.

There are videos on Youtube that deal with just this theme and that show how bad some probes of cheap multimeters really are.

It certainly pays off here to search for Alternatives.

My recommendation goes to Probemaster. Their test leads are very high-quality,  most practical and yet affordable. I ordered both of the above shown sets from Welectron.
